Administrative support

ERoSH is a membership-based charity, and as such, our core service is our Administration Support. Based in Chippenham, Marie-Thè Atkinson provides this service, which is the hub of the charity. Here, she deals efficiently with:

  • Membership subscriptions (new and renewals)
  • Bookings for ERoSH's events and conferences
  • Orders for and dispatch of checklists and good practice guides
  • Invoices
  • Membership and general enquiries

ERoSH's Administration Support is your first port of call if you need to find out more about ERoSH, the sheltered and retirement housing sector, or if you wish to contact one of our Trustees. Visit contact us to do this.

Regional Development sub-group

ERoSH's Regional Development sub group supports existing and encourages the establishment of new regional network groups.

  • Sharing good practice
  • Disseminating good practice
  • Seeking member feedback
  • Facilitating support to new local groups
  • Sharing information with like minded groups

ERoSH welcomes groups of all sizes - regional and local, urban and rural - but we recommend that you check whether an ERoSH Network already exists in your locality or region before starting a new one.

If there is not a Network in your area and you would like to start one, please contact us. You will be required to do this to register your new group - simply telephone or email us.

Remember also to keep ERoSH up to date with your Network's progress regularly by sending on your papers and minutes to info@shelteredhousing.org and we can post them on this site for others' information.

Collaboration & Development sub-group

The aim of this group is to promote sheltered and retirement housing, as well as to promote good policy, practice and joint working. It works with the Centre for Sheltered Housing Studies, the Advice and Mediation Service, the Association of Retirement Housing Managers, the Telecare Services Association and the Elderly Accommodation Counsel to achieve its aims.

Finance sub-group

ERoSH's Finance Sub Group is responsible for overseeing all income and expenditure of the charity. It produces an annual budget that informs all expenditure planning for the year ahead. The executive committee approves this annual budget ahead of the year of operation.

The Sub Group comprises of the treasurer, chair and deputy chair of ERoSH and all spending sub-group chairs. ERoSH members can obtain information about income and expenditure by visiting the treasurer with a three day notice period.

The Sub Group adheres to the Charity Commission's audit rules comprehensively.
