Sheltered housing delivery models - the key issues
There was little information or guidance in the government's Lifetime Homes Lifetime Neighbourhoods on service delivery models - other than the references to the lack of availability of a good range of housing options in some areas (page 134) and the view that "sheltered housing at its best can be a vibrant community hub, tackling exclusion and promoting active ageing, even if the accommodation is outdated.... Models .....should ..... focus on well-being" (page 140).
Members can download the full text of ERoSH's paper examining the key issues behind sheltered housing's service delivery models.
If you have any comments and / or proposed changes to the document, please email ERoSH's Director of Policy, Imogen Parry.
