Introduction

Sheltered housing can offer independent living through improved mobility, good health, safety, financial security, good neighbours and lack of dependency on other.

And yet, there is much confusion about what sheltered and retirement housing is. Many people mistakenly confuse it with residential care.

In order to fulfill our charitable aims, ERoSH is committed to creating and maintaining ways to allow the sharing of best practice and knowledge amongst housing professionals working with and on behalf of older people.

In addition to the range of good practice checklists and guides, ERoSH works alongside a number of organisations, government bodies and companies to promote its charitable aims. This section will help you access news about ERoSH, free downloadable copies of a number of good practice checklists, as well as links to our affiliated partners and other useful website addresses.
