ERoSH launches revised checklist
ERoSH's Collaboration & Development Group has launched a revised version of the original '8 key questions and answers' leaflet, aimed at the general public, and which explains about sheltered housing, what to look for, what the benefits are, the role of the scheme manager, who is eligible, how much it costs and how to go about applying.
The original '8 Q&A' English language version was produced to help sheltered housing providers dispel the negative myths surrounding sheltered housing, such as living in an institutionalised environment. There are now nine questions and the text has been updated to take account of Supporting People.
The English version is available as a pdf to download (click on Publications in the right hand menu of this page) or as a hardcopy to order via our order form.
A Word version and translated and audio-tape versions in community languages will follow soon.
