ERoSH and CSHS launch latest good practice guide
ERoSH and CSHS have launched their latest collaborative good practice guide which focuses on partnership working.
The guide, written by ERoSH Director of Policy Imogen Parry, sets out the reasons why partnership working is necessary, the external drivers and the obstacles to success. The last three sections suggest ways that obstacles can be overcome illustrated with examples of good practice in partnership working, set out final pointers and signpost to further sources of guidance.
The foreword is written by Jeremy Porteus, National Programme Lead for the Care Service Improvement Partnership Networks, who said, "The joy of this guide is that it provides dozens of very practical case studies and checklists for organisations to consider."
Partnership working is an essential feature of effective sheltered housing and related support services. All sheltered housing and related support service providers are exhorted to engage in partnership working - by commissioners, by other stakeholders, by the government and by service users. Yet partnership working is not always easy and its benefits do not always seem to outweigh the effort involved.
To obtain copies of the guide contact Jean McCarthy, Good Practice Officer, at jean.mccarthy@cshs.co.uk or telephone 01905 727282. The cost is £20 per copy, excluding postage and packing, with an exclusive 20% discount for ERoSH members.
