A Celebration of Housing for Later Life
At last the retirement housing sector has its own dedicated awards.
We were delighted to have supported of the first Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) Housing for Older People Awards.
At the inaugural event at Lords on February 4 around 340 guests, including designers, providers and managers of retirement housing and over 100 elderly residents were present to see 32 awards handed out across 11 categories of retirement housing and housing with care.
The winners have now been announced and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the award winners for their hard work and dedication.
The awards were decided by residents, upholding the central goals of empowerment and listening to customer feedback. EAC has published photographs of the event, and a DVD of the occasion will be available in the near future.
