Funding available to get older residents online
Two regional events are being held as part of the Get Digital programme, which is aimed at promoting and supporting digital inclusion for older residents in sheltered housing.
Organisations, that are interested in accessing funding to provide digital facilities, can find out more about what grants are available at these events.The events are being held on May 6th in Leeds, and May 11th in Leicester.

The Get Digital programme is being delivered between February 2010 and March 2011 by The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and Digital Unite (DU).
Grants between £4,000 and £5,000 are available to equip schemes for digital learning, and to buy additional learning support or services. The deadlines for applications are:
London and South East region - March 26th
East Midlands and Eastern - April 30th
West Midlands and South West - May 30th
North West and North East - June 30th
