Comment on proposal for sheltered housing standards
ERoSH members are being invited to comment on a draft standard for the provision of sheltered housing.
The BSI Group, which is the national standards body for the UK and produces standards that promote best practice, is looking for comments on its first draft of ‘Sheltered housing - Requirements for services for elderly people provided in a sheltered housing scheme'.
BSI's committee on sheltered housing services has been providing input into the European standardisation committee Services for sheltered housing for the elderly, which has been developing the standard on sheltered housing.
The standard has now reached the draft for public comment stage, and you can now comment on the document by using BSI's draft review system.
To comment on the document you need to become a member, which is quick and easy on the BSI website. The deadline for comments is September 30, 2010.
