First year for sheltered housing award
For the first time Yours magazine, which is a lifestyle magazine for women over 50, is looking to award the UK's best sheltered homes and their staff.
The Yours Caring Stars of the Year Awards, which previously recognised only care homes, is looking for excellent examples of sheltered housing care - either nominated by residents or families of people living in sheltered housing.
Yours Reader Care editor Rosie Sandall, who coordinates the awards, visited many of last year's nominations. She said: "I'm looking forward to visiting some of the country's best sheltered accommodation nominated this year too."
